Day 20

Another day filled with walking.  So many charming nooks and crannies.
One of my favorite gardens are the passages behind the Palais Royale.  Have stoped there to sit, watch fountains, admire the roses in bloom right now.
This is at the metro stop in front of Le Palais Royale.  This group was playing in the morning and a rocker group was playing when we were returning home that evening.
Ate a nice lunch in the Tuileries after walking the gauntlet of very persistant vendors, mostly African, selling hats, sunglasses, Paris trinkets, umbrellas, selfie sticks, water.

Near Pont Alexandre III, outside Le Petit Palais. Entry is free but probably because it was Sunday on a holiday weekend a large part was unavailable to visit.  Beautiful what we could see.  Has a lush tropical courtyard in the middle.

Once a month the Champs Elysee are closed all but pedestrian traffic.  It was packed! Walked across the river towards the Eiffel Tower down Avenue Montainge.  Chanel, Feragamo, etc, etc, etc.
And again another Japanese or Chinese couple having their wedding photographs taken.
